Maria Obregon

Maria Cleotilde Bracamontes Obregon, age 55, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Baylor Scott and White in Temple. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 19 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, beginning at 10 am and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery. There will be a visitation on Friday, March 18 from 5-7pm at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

Maria was born in Mexquitic de Carmona, Mexico on October 23, 1966, to parents Jesus and Maria (Garcia) Bracamontes. She was a long-time member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Hector Obregon Garcia.

Left to cherish her memory are sisters, Silvia Bracamontes Garcia, Cristela Bracamontes Garcia, and Maria Bracamontes Garcia; sons, Claudio Obregon, Jose Carrillo, and Jose Medrano; daughters Carolina Obregon and Mayra Bracamontes; and 8 grandkids.
