Maria Morales

Recitation of the Holy Rosary in memory of Maria Francisca Morales, 79, of Temple, will be held at 7 PM. on Friday, December 15, 2017, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in
Temple. A time of fellowship and gathering will be held from 6 to 7 PM.

Maria passed from this life on December 11, 2017 at home while surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Morales was born in Holland, TX on March 11, 1938 to Luiz and Josefa Tellez.

Maria spent most of her life living in the Temple area. She was a long-time member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mrs. Morales was a wonderful seamstress for her
family and many people in the community for many years. She was also known for her love of cooking. She was always happy when cooking for her family, whom especially
enjoyed her cornbread stuffing and pies. Above all else she was a mother and a homemaker. With her sweet spirit she cared deeply for her family. Mrs. Morales will always be
remembered for her funny stories and a great sense of humor. Maria never shied away from lending a helping hand to those in need when she was able. She will be greatly
missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Maria is preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to cherish and honor her memory are her beloved husband, Enis Martinez Morales; sons, John T. Hernandez of Pensacola, FL, Jesse R. Guerra and wife Juanita of
Little River, TX, Robert A. Guerra and wife Rita Jo of Temple, TX, Louis C. Guerra of Temple, TX; daughters, Eva M. Duarte of Temple, TX, Cynthia A. Cadena and husband Jesse of
Desoto, TX; brothers, Stephen Bustos of Temple, TX, Tony Tellez of Union, NE, Johnny Tellez of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Sandra Phillips of Tomball, TX; thirteen grandchildren,
fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; as well as many other nieces, nephews and other loving family members.

Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
