Margie Mayes

Margie Lorine Mayes, 83, of Temple, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012 at a local nursing home. A funeral service will be 10:00am, Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home, Temple, TX with Brother Ron Milne officiating. Burial will follow in Reeds Lake Cemetery under the direction of HarperTalasek Funeral Home, Temple, Texas. A visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:008:00pm at the funeral home.

Margie was born January 24, 1929 in Belton, Texas, the daughter of the late Malcom Irving Beasley and Alice Elizabeth Hatley Beasley. She worked at Walmart as a greeter, and enjoyed Bingo and going to Louisiana. Margie was a Baptist.

Margie is survived by her children Shirley White and husband Gary of Troy, TX Eddie Henderson and wife Jody of Troy, TX Franklin Henderson and wife Patty of Moffat Bobby Seaton and wife Cheri of Belton sister Alice Darlene Crouch of Kentucky 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 5 great, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
