Graveside services for Margaret Vasquez, 85, of Temple will be at 11:30 am on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Margaret Vasquez died Tuesday, August 20, 2014 at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, Texas.

Margaret was born January 11, 1929 in Cypress Mill, Texas to Fermin Ramirez and Cresencia Castor Ramirez. She was married to Francisco Vasquez who died in 1983. Margaret lived in Temple for over twenty years with her spouse, Juan G. Lopez, Sr. who died in 2011. She was a homemaker, worked in a cafeteria, and also employed by American Desk. Margaret loved to play bingo and will always be remembered by her grandchildren for her talents in the kitchen and her warm heart. She is loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Margaret is preceded in death by husbands parents sisters Rosie Gonzales and Dominga Rodriguez and brothers Jose Ramirez and Chano Ramirez.

She is survived by daughter Christine Hill and husband, Bruce A. Hill, Jr. grandchildren Lori Krout of Denver, CO., Tracy Stephens and husband Chris Stephens of Temple, Keifer A. McCormack of Temple, Kayla A. McCormack of Temple and five great grandchildren and sisters Reyes Castillo of Austin and Lupe Olivares of Temple.
