Margaret Nothdurft

Margaret Martha Nothdurft, 95 of Temple, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010 in a local nursing facility. Graveside services will be 2:30pm Tuesday in Oakwood Cemetery in Waco with Chaplain Richard Rust officiating.


Margaret Nothdurft was born July 27, 1914 to Julius and Anna Marie Brock Bruemmer in Waco, Texas. On March 30, 1935, she was married to Alfred Nothdurft. Mrs. Nothdurft worked as a housewife, and she had worked for Sears in Corpus Christi. She was also a fine seamstress. Mrs. Nothdurft was a member of the First Evangelical Church in Waco.

Margaret and her late husband loved dancing, and they loved the beach.


She is preceded in death by her husband, her brother, Heinz Bruemmer and sister, Charlotte Schneider.


Survivors include her sister, Gertrude Ezzell of Temple, and nieces Carol EzzellKeese of Richardson, and Betty Roth of Marietta, Georgia.
