Margaret Hughling

Services for Margaret Ella Hughling, 90, of Temple will be 2:00 pm Friday, December 5, 2014 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple with Brother Gregory Nichols officiating. Interment will follow at Bellwood Memorial Cemetery.

Margaret died on Tuesday, December 2nd, at her residence in Temple, Texas.

Margaret was born on August 5, 1924 in Mart, Texas to John Lemmie Wolverton and Georgia Alyn Humphries Wolverton. She was married to her soul mate of 57 years, John Calvin Hughling. Margaret was a homemaker and she loved sewing, quilting, arts and crafts, and cooking. No one ever left her home with an empty stomach. Margaret loved and cared for her family. She was the biggest fan of any and all sports that her children liked even Nascar Races.

She was preceded in death by her husband brothers, Claudius Earl Wolverton and wife Inez, Donald Raymond Wolverton, Lyn Royce Wolverton sister, Betty Jean Wolverton.

Survivors include her three children John David Hughling and wife Kandy Nelda Jean Hughling, and Allen Ray Hughling and wife, Linda sister, Lyndal Joyce Parmer seven grandchildren Lisa M. Sniggs and husband Eric, John Aaron Hughling, Chris McFarland and wife Brooke, John Lee Ellison and wife Cathy, Tammy R. Hill and husband Rick, Divinity L. Pagel and husband Albert, Chance A. Hughling and wife Kim, and Shauna M. Hughling sixteen greatgrandchildren two great greatgrandchildren two sistersnlaw Sherry Wolverton and Mary Wolverton five nieces and seven nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 4th from 6 8 pm at HarperTalasek Funeral Home.
