Marcelina Fuentez

Services for Marcelina Cantu Fuentez, 85, of Temple, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 3 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Temple with Father Steve Sauser officiating. Burial will follow
in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Mrs. Fuentez went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 28 in Temple, Texas.

Marcelina Cantu Fuentez was born in Bremond, Texas on July 17, 1932 to Jose Cantu and Ramona Martinez Cantu. She married Felix Fuentez, Sr. on February 27, 1954 at
St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Bryan, Texas. They shared 64 loving years together. Mrs. Funetez was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her life was defined by her
strong Catholic faith. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Temple.

Mrs. Fuentez was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Felix Fuentez, Sr.; brother, Manuel Cantu; three sons, David and wife Chris, Felix and wife Marcy, Ben and wife Maria; five daughters,
Mary Lou and husband Roy Salinas, Ramona and husband Joe M. Hernandez, Yolanda and husband Martin Esparza, Carolyn Fuentez, Frances and husband Randy Rodriguez;
19 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Marcelina Fuentez' name to the Lewy body Dementia Association, LBDA, Inc., 919 Killian Hill road S.W., Lilburn, Georgia 30047.

Visitation will be 5 -7 p.m. Friday, March 2 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Recitation of Rosary will be at 7 p.m.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Senior Care of Western Hills for their loving care.
