Lydia Fern Weber-Pippins, age 76, of Temple passed away from this life on Sunday, December 15th, 2024, at Baylor Scott & White hospital. Lydia was born, alongside her twin sister, Linda, in St. Ignatius, Montana on December 14th, 1948, to parents Jerl and Ara Weber.

Lydia grew up on her family farm in Charlo, Montana with 13 other siblings. She proudly served her country in the United States Army from 1967-1969. While stationed at Ft. Lewis in Yelm, Washington she married the love of her life, Kenneth Pippins on May 3rd, 1969. She served as President of the VFW Auxiliary in 2019 and had the opportunity to serve her community and fellow veterans. She attended Potter’s House Christian Church in Temple.

Anyone who met Lydia would tell you that she was kind, supportive and quick-witted. A true force to reckon with. She would often volunteer in the community for the benefit of others. She led her family to Relay for Life events, VFW fundraisers, and volunteered countless hours with her grandchildren to nursing home residents all over town.
