Luis Miguel & Amilliana Renee Castillo

Luis “Luigi” Miguel Castillo and daughter, Amilliana “Millie” Renee Castillo both passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022, after a terrible car accident in Goldthwaite, Texas. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple, starting at 2 pm.

Luis was born on November 4, 2001, in Brownwood, Texas to Serjio Castillo and Graciela Castaneda. Luis and his wife, Alexus Christine Mendoza welcomed their daughter, Amilliana, into the world on February 6, 2021, in Temple, Texas.

Luis enjoyed spending time with his family and always loved putting a smile on everyone’s faces. He loved to provide for his family and to give them the best possible life, and he did just that. Most of all, he loved his daughter, and she loved him. Her laugh brought so much life into him and that was what kept him going. He gave her the best life and she knew that. They both enjoyed spending time with each other, their bond was unbreakable. She loved to make her daddy laugh, and there was never a dull moment with them around. Amilliana loved watching My Little Pony and Cocomelon with her dad, and making him read her favorite book, “5 Little Monkeys”. She loved playing at the park and was the light of her dad’s life.

Those left to cherish and honor their memories are Luis’ wife and mother to Amilliana, Alexus Christine Mendoza; Luis’ son and brother to Amilliana, Luis Miguel Castillo Jr.; Luis’ parents, Serjio Castillo and Graciela Castaneda, Luis’ brothers and uncles to Amilliana, Serjio Efrian Castillo Jr., and Manuel Castillo; and Luis’ sister and aunt to Amilliana, Tiffany Lynn Castillo.
