Luela Snow

Graveside services for Luela M. Snow, 93, of Temple, will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 2 at Holland City Cemetery.

Mrs. Snow died Thursday, July 28, at a local care facility.

Luela M. Snow was born in 1923 in Bell County to Charles E. McCray and Dovie Joiner McCray. She lived in the Temple area all of her life and retired after 20 plus years employment in the Medical Records Department of Scott and White Memorial Hospital. She was a charter member of Heights Baptist Church in Temple and was an excellent cook and seamstress.

Mrs. Snow was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Snow; brothers ,Thearon McCray and Fred D. McCray; and sisters, Opal McCray, Ruth Cartwright, Charlie Lane, Oline Vandever, and Bessie Mae Smith.

She is survived by her son, Lynn Snow and wife Beverly of Austin; daughter, Lou Anne Snow of Temple; granddaughter Candace Brinzo of San Antonio; grandson Brent Brinzo and wife Heather of Temple; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 1 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Luela's memory may be made to the Audio System Fund at Heights Baptist Church, 1220 S. 49th Street, Temple Texas 76504.

Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
