Lucille Mcdonald

Mrs. Lucille McDonald, 89, of Temple, died Wednesday, April 23, 2008 in a local nursing center.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, May 9, 2008 at Oak Park United Methodist Church in Temple with Rev. Chris Mesa officiating. Burial will be in Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 P.M. at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

Mrs. McDonald was born to Henry Jackson Hamner and Mary Jane Nelson Hamner in Childress, Texas on November 25, 1918. She had been a resident of Temple for many years. She was a member of Oak Park United Methodist Church in Temple.

Survivors include 1 son, Rodney McDonald and wife, Vicki of Highland Village, Texas; 2 daughters, Rae Lynn Jukkola and husband, Lloyd of The Woodlands and Bernice Winkler and husband, Royce of Temple; 7 grandchildren, Meredith Jukkola, Kevin Jukkola, London Yepez, Chad Winkler, Karl Winkler, Casey McDonald and Austin McDonald; and 2 great grandchildren, Taylor Yepez and Erin Yepez.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Oak Park United Methodist Church, 5505 South 31st Street, Temple, Texas 76502.
