Louise Beard

Services for Louise B. Beard, 83, of Temple, will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 12, 2015, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Kenneth Beard and Carl Guthrie officiating. Burial will be private.

Mrs. Beard passed away Thursday, October 08, 2015, at her home in Temple.

Louise was born August 22, 1932 in Palmetto, Louisiana to Armojean Boudreaux and Elise Leger Boudreaux. She was married to Steve Beard, who preceded her in death on March 19, 1988. Louise was a homemaker and loved raising her children and reading her Bible.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Steve; sons, James Lee and Lindsey Beard; brother, Pacifique Boudreaux; and sister, Selonia Macip.

She is survived by five sons, Adam, Kenneth, Daniel, Harold T., and Calvin Beard; two daughters, Wanda Beard and Elizabeth Ann Gauthier; numerous cousins, grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday, October 11, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel in Temple.
