Lorraine Dyson

Lorraine H. Dyson, 84, Temple, Tx, died Thursday, May 31, 2012 in a local hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 10 am at St. Luke Catholic Church of Temple. The rosary will be Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 7 pm at the Harper Talasek Funeral Home Temple with burial to be at Assumption Cemetery in Austin, Tx at 2 pm Thursday.
Mrs. Dyson was born February 27, 1928 in Groton, Connecticut to Lauriano Navarro and Lillian Gonella Navaro. Lorraine worked retail at department stores before being employed by Temple ISD, where after many years of service, she retired from there. She was also a member of the St. Luke Catholic Church. Mrs. Dyson was the last survivor of six children.
Mrs. Dyson is preceded in death by her husband Robert Dyson, a son Donald and an infant daughter, Nancy, her parents Lauriano and Lillian Navaro, and five siblings Larry, Lewis, Loyd, Linwood, and Lillian.
She is survived by two sons: Ronald Dyson of Indiananapolis, In., and Keith Dyson of Temple, Tx., sisterinlaws Sylvia Navarro of San Antonio, Tx, and Lorraine Oliver of St. Petersburg, Fl., she had 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren, Agnes Little Sis ODonell, Donna Dees Forney a close friend, Connie Utterback a close and loving friend.
