Linda Sauseda

Graveside services for Rosa Linda Sauseda, 75, of Temple will be 10 am Saturday, July 17 at Old Perry Cemetery in Moody, Texas. Mrs. Sauseda passed away Wednesday, July 14 in Temple.

Rosa Linda Sauseda was born June 15, 1946, in Temple, Texas to Daniel Ervia Maldonado and Rosa Maldonado. She married Cirilo “Johnny” Sauseda, Jr., and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Sauseda worked for the Haywood factory, for HEB #2 in Temple for five years, and was a Food Service Supervisor for Scott and White Hospital for 24 years. Rosa Linda shared her life and her love of family with everyone she met. She was a constant reminder of how blessed we are as a family, and she continually encouraged and lifted people up to show them the goodness within themselves. She will be truly missed.

Mrs. Sauseda was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny, her parents, Daniel Ervia Maldonado and Rosa Macies, four sisters, and a brother. She is survived by three daughters, Angela Sauseda, Christina Sauseda-Troche, both of Belton, and Katherine Sauseda Cordero of Temple; her brothers, Alfredo Hernandez of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Pedro Maldonado of Lansing, Michigan; sisters, Ester Barham of Hughes Spring and Janie Matous of Ennis; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 pm – 8 pm on Friday, July 16, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel in Temple.
