Services for Lillian Ruth Jones, 102, of Duncan will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 7, at Central Baptist Church with Pastor Marvin Knox officiating. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery.

Lillian R. Jones died on Monday, July 3, at her home.

Lillian Jones was born on June 26, 1915 to Henry Basken Turner and Edna Lue Jones in Leon, Texas. In April of 1930 Lillian married the love of her life, John Keeble Jones. Together they had three sons and a daughter. They established their family roots in 1951 in Duncan. She was a homemaker and a proud ranchers' wife. She enjoyed serving the ranch hands during harvest season. The family ranch raised Herefords Cattle. She was known for her baked and homemade goods when Keeble worked at Halliburton. She left behind a life lesson to always take care of your home and family. She is a member of Central Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Husband of 59 years; one son, J.D Jones; three brothers; and six sisters.

Survivors include her two sons, David Ray Jones, Darrell Wayne Jones and wife Pamela; a daughter, Melba Ruth Esparza and husband Oscar along with 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 6 at Whitt Funeral Home.

A special thank you to her wonderful caretakers for their love and care.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Central Baptist Church.

Arrangements are in the care of Whitt Funeral Home.
