Levie Adamek

Levie T. Adamek , 96, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on April 4th, 2015. Visitation is April 7th from 5 - 8pm at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 8th at Lawnhaven Cemetery in San Angelo, Texas with Reverend Tommy Tallas officiating.

Levie T. Ademek was born October 4, 1918 in East Bell County to Charlie Martinek and Terezie Mikeska. She married Henry Adamek in 1940 and worked at the San Angelo Center for 40 years. Levie was a lifelong member and a past Worthy Matron of the Carlsbad Chapter of Eastern Star. She was a member of the Wall Brethren Church and recently of Seaton Brethren Church. Levie was a wonderful cook. She baked pies, cakes and cinnamon rolls. Her special ingredient was love.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry of 55 years, and three brothers, Edwin Mikeska, Albert Martinek, and Charlie Martinek.

Mrs. Adamek leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her 2 sisters; Elsie Cabla and Dorothy Tomasek; and several nieces and nephews.
