Lesta Reese

Lesta Joyce Peterson Reese, 64, of Temple, died January 28, 2011 at a local nursing home of progressive supranuclear palsy.
Lesta was born July 24, 1946 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Leslie and Mary Agnes Gaberdiel Peterson. She lived in Temple for more than 40 years. She graduated from MaryHardin Baylor University, was retired from civil service employment at Fort Hood, and belonged to the First United Methodist Church of Temple. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Howry Clay of Austin stepson Larry Reese Donna of Temple stepdaughter Terry Reese of Tulsa, Oklahoma sisters Donna Dial Jan of Springfield, Oregon, and Glennys Sabuco Francisco of West Jordan, Utah five grandchildren, and three nephews. She married Thelbert Tack Reese in Temple July 25, 1970. He preceded her in death in 1989.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday February 2, 2010 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home Temple.Rev. Ralph McCullough officiating.The family will receive frieneds from 10 a.m. until serice hour.Interment in Bellwood Cemetery Temple,Tx.
