Lesley Wade, Jr.

Services for Lesley Clinton Wade Jr, 89, of Temple will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 5, 2017 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park.

Mr. Lesley C. Wade, Jr., died on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at his residence.

Lesley Wade was born on November 13, 1927 to L.C. Wade and Icy Gayle Cupp Wade in Temple, Texas. Lesley graduated from Temple High School. He married on June 19, 1946 in San Saba to Josephine LaVerne Mucha. He raised his family on the lakes skiing, fishing and camping. He retired from the Santa Fe Railroad as a trainman. Jo and Les enjoyed traveling in their RV. He enjoyed riding his motorcycles. He was a member of the Knob Creek Masonic Lodge # 401, Elks Lodge #138, and the United Transportation Union.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, two sons, Lesley Carl Wade, Robert Aaron Wade; Sister, Betty Wade.

Survivors include daughter, Linda Gail Drake, six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2017 from 5:00 -7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Arrangements are in the care of Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
