Lesley Wade

Memorial services for Lesley Carl Wade, 67, of Temple, will be 2:00 pm on Monday, February 16, 2015 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Pastor Michalk.

Lesley passed away on Wednesday, February 11th at his home.

Lesley was born on November 13, 1947 in Temple, Texas to Lesley C. Wade Jr. and Josephine L. Mucha Wade. He was a hard worker with his first job as a paper route at the age of 12, also working his way through college. Lesley graduated from Temple High School, attended Temple Junior College, and the University of Texas. Upon graduation he worked for Bell County Savings and Loan as the Vice President. He was the owner and operator of five accounting firms. Lesley also worked for the State of Texas as a CPA State Auditor. He was confirmed a Lutheran and served in the church. Lesley married Charlotte Wade and started their family with Derek and Ashley. His memories will be honored and cherished by his family.

Preceded in death are his mother; brother, Robert Wade; uncle and aunt, Johnny and Lorain Palla; and cousin, Shirley Paysee.

Survivors include his son, Derek W. Wade and fiancé Eden Weltman; daughter, Ashley Wade; father, Lesley C. Wade, Jr.; sister, Linda Drake; grandchildren, Sean Rodgers and Serenity Rodgers; cousins; Sheryl Posey and J. Palla; and numerous family and friends.
