Leonard Taylor

Leonard Dale Taylor, age 74 of Temple, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020. Graveside services will be held at 3 pm Monday, January 11, 2021 at Bethany Cemetery in Moody.

Leonard was born July 28, 1946 to Robert Lee and Jesse (Edwards) Taylor in Temple, Texas. He married Rebecca Lynn Taylor and they shared their lives together until her death on December 21, 2020. Leonard loved spending time outdoors camping and fishing. His special spot to camp was on Belton Lake at Site 6 of Winkler Park. He also loved making furniture. Leonard worked for E R Carpenter and Wilson Art, he was always working with his hands.

Leonard is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Jesse Taylor; his beloved wife, Rebecca Taylor; sisters, Ona Mae Maddux, Dorothy Puritt, Betty Taylor, Bobbie Pruitt, Sadie Smith; and brothers, Garland Taylor, Ennis Taylor and Aubrey Taylor.

He is survived by his children, Tammy Cain, Christopher Hierdin, Karen Fink and Rhonda Hunt; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
