Leona Caddell

Services for Leona Marie Caddell, 97, of Temple will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 18, 2013, at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple with the Reverend Billy Koinm of Heights Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in North Belton Cemetery.

Mrs. Caddell died Thursday, November 14, 2013, at a local nursing home.

She was born October 1, 1916 in Blevins, Texas to Samuel Woolley and Virgie Keeton Woolley. She married L.F. Bub Caddell in 1936 and lived in the Temple area most of her life. Mrs. Caddell was a homemaker and a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church for 55 years. She worked for many years in the Church Nursery.

Mrs. Caddell was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, one brother, two sons, and three grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Lewis Caddell of Caldwell daughters, Donna Caddell of Temple, Frances McKenzie of Temple, Patsy Lambert of Angleton, Betty Kunze of Evant, and Shirley Broussard of Austin 17 grandchildren and many, many great grandchildren and greatgreat grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Immanuel Baptist Church Nursery.

Visitation will be from noon 1:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
