Lee Mcrae

There will be a private family service for Lee Bryant McRae, 77, of Temple at a later date.

Lee McRae passed away Wednesday, June 24, at a local hospital

Lee was born on May 3, 1938 to Willard McRae and Ester Strickland McRae in Carrollton, Georgia.
He married Judy Cook in 1988, where he shared a strong love for 28 years. They started their family in 1959 when their first child was born and continued to grow their family till 1964. His children were his greatest achievement. He owned and operated the American Muffler shop. His greatest loves were racing, fishing, and working on old cars.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Thomas McRae and Leedy McRae; and a sister, Ruby Thompson.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jimmy McRae and wife Laurie, Thomas Burdick and wife Lisa, Donnie McRae and wife Kelly; daughter, Theresa Erhardt and husband Henry; sisters, Barbara McRae and husband Lyle and Betty McRae; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
