Lawrence Quinteros

Services for Lawrence Larry Quinteros, 56, of Troy will be held in Detroit, Michigan at a later date.

Mr. Quinteros died Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at a local nursing facility.

Larry was born July 4, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan to Rafael Mendez Quinteros and Pauline Silva Quinteros. He graduated from Southwestern High School and was a machinist by profession. He retired from the Detroit Regional Dist. Center as a machinist and was a member of the Teamsters Union.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Pauline Quinteros.

Mr. Quinteros is survived by his children, Anthony Tony Quinteros, Joseph Joey Quinteros, Francisco Frankie Quinteros, and Marguerita Maggie Quinteros brother, Arthur Art Quinteros sisters, Lydia Quinteros Castillo and husband Roy, and Jennifer Quinteros Gonzalez and husband Sergio nieces, Delia Castillo Rocha and husband Aldo, and Lisa Castillo Martinez and husband Julio aunts, Mary Flores, Irene Flores and Tomasa Quinteros and ten grandchildren.

HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
