Larry Dee Tuerck, 54, of Temple, Texas, passed away on February 3, 2026. He was a lifelong resident of Temple and was known for his hardworking nature and deep devotion to his family.
Larry was born on November 12, 1971, in Temple, Texas, to the late Virginia Ann Knight and Larry Louis Tuerck. Throughout his life, Larry worked in various fields and was known as a mechanic, antique collector, business owner, and race car driver. His work ethic and hands-on skills were evident in everything he did.
Larry had a true passion for working on cars and enjoyed fishing in his spare time. He was an active member of many auction groups and took pride in collecting unique and meaningful items. Above all else, Larry lived for his family, always making sure his wife and sons had everything they needed and wanted. His love, dedication, and commitment to those he cared for most defined his life.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia Ann Knight and Larry Louis Tuerck; and his sister, Melissa Arroyo. He is survived by his spouse, Renee “Susie” Tuerck, and former spouse Amy Bridges; his sons, Charles Knodel and Gilbert Knodel; his daughter-in-law, Brandee Knodel; his brother, Louis Tuerck, along with many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
