Within each of us lies the ability to be kind, loving and caring to each other. May we find and keep those characteristics when we are young and hold firm to them, so that no one around us can influence that innocence as we grow, for those who stray from their childhood innocence, can will hatred upon the world and then later in life seek forgiveness after the regret.
Larry Scott Cook, 48, died September 2nd at his home in McKinney, TX.
Services will be held Thursday, September 6th, at 1:00 PM at Harper Talasek with Billy Ray Crow officiating. Burial will be at the Val Verde Cemetery.
Mr. Cook was born August 8, 1964, in Temple, Tx and graduated from Temple High School. He lived most of his adult life in the DFW metroplex. He married Cecilia Kovacs on September 14, 2005. He was a member of the Castle Hills Country Club, attended ITours Golf Tournaments, and built a business called the Happy Place where he created lots of beautiful things . He also enjoyed spending time with family and golfing with his friends.
Survivors include a son Braiden, wife Cecilia, mother Gwen Schwarz, brother Rex Cook and wife Denise, nieces Krystal, Britten, MaKayla, Meagan, and nephew Rex Jr. Uncle James and wife Nancy Taylor and Uncle Dan Taylor and cousins Troy and Zach Taylor and Staci Brindle, and inlaws Elizabeth and Stephan Kovacs and sisterinlaw Viorica Kovacs.
Visitation for Mr. Cook will be held at 6:008:00 PM Wednesday at Harper Talasek.
