Kenneth Lee Starcher, Jr.

Kenneth Lee Starcher, Jr., age 49, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2023, at his home in Moody, Texas. He was born on April 24, 1974, in Temple, Texas to his parents, Dolores Starcher and the late Kenneth L. Starcher, Sr.

Kenneth had a career as a Licensed Commercial Journeyman and worked for Power Plumbing. Outside of his professional endeavors, Kenneth led a fulfilling life filled with diverse interests and hobbies. He had a passion for fishing and would often retreat to the peaceful solitude of the water to cast his lines. Cooking was another one of his talents; he delighted in preparing delicious meals for his loved ones. Additionally, he found joy in watching football games and enthusiastically supported his favorite teams.

Kenneth's kind-hearted nature and warm personality endeared him to all who were fortunate enough to know him. He was a loving son, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. His memory will forever be cherished by his mother, Dolores Starcher; sister, Dora Flaugh; son, Preston Starcher; daughters, Taylor Berkley and Kendall Starcher; as well as his granddaughter, Paisley Mae Maresh.

A memorial service will be held in Kenneth's honor at 2 pm Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

Kenneth's passing leaves an immense void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. The family would like to extend a special thank you to everyone that has reached out to share memories, comforting condolences, and gestures of love during this difficult time.
