Kathryn Haskovec

Kathryn O. Haskovec, 83 of Temple died Saturday, August 6 in a local nursing home.
Funeral services for Mrs. Haskovec will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 11 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Popelka officiating with interment to follow at Bellwood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Haskovec was May 25, 1928 in Greenville, Tx to the late Byron J. and Madge Chandler Spurlock. She grew up in Greenville and graduated from Greenville High School, she worked at various jobs, was a clerk for Western Auto for a few years, also worked for Western Union and General Electric. She was a member of the Evangelical Brethren Church in Temple.
She and Edwin H. Haskovec married October 18, 1947 and he survives her. She is also survived by one son, Edwin Robin Haskovec of Temple.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 10 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.
