Graveside services for Katheryn Marie Sodek, 70, of Merkel, Texas will be 2:00 pm Friday February 26, 2016 at Seaton Cemetery.

Katheryn Marie Sodek passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at her residence.

Katheryn was born on October 29, 1945 in Breckenridge, Texas, to James Carlock and Burniece Goode Pendleton. Katheryn worked as a prison guard. She was a hard worker, cared for others, and a genuine true friend. Katheryn was very fond of her animals. Best friend to her daughter Diana. She will be missed and forever loved.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her three sons; David Holder, Billy Williams and wife Toni, and Shane Chudej; two daughters, Diana Chudej, Deborah Williams and husband David; brother, Jim Pendleton and wife Ester; numerous grand and great grandchildren.
