Services for Julie Ann Koleszar, 70, of Temple will be from 2 -3 pm Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel. The family will join together for a meal from 3 -4 pm at the Harper-Talasek Family Center. Interment will follow to Hillcrest Cemetery at 4:15 pm.
Julie Ann Koleszar passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and care givers on Tuesday, December 1st.
Julie was born on January 2, 1945 to Ira Neil Burdick and Ann Burdick-Azzano in Temple. She was a lifelong resident of Temple only spending a short time in Germany as a military wife with her husband, Bob Dean Koleszar and children. She was a hairdresser in Temple for many years. Julie liked to travel, play the piano, and enjoyed raising many animals especially her last four legged buddy, Chris. She was a wonderful cook and always welcomed her family and friends over to enjoy a meal. Julie loved her family, enjoyed life, classic movies, the California Ocean, and the Texas Gulf Coast.
Preceded in death are her parents and husband.
Survivors include her son, Bobby Koleszar; daughters, Debra Mooney, Brandye Perkins-Grote, Elizabeth Hagensick; sister, Betty Thilges; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 pm Friday, December 4th at the funeral Home.
