Julia Rae Hoffman

Julia Rae Hoffman, age 81 of Temple, passed from this life Sunday, May 11, 2025. Private family services will be held at a later date.

Julia was born on February 22, 1944, to Josiah and Edna Beakley in Paulsboro, New Jersey. She was a beacon of strength, resilience, and love. In the 1980s, she embraced the challenges of single motherhood, raising her son and daughter with unwavering dedication and grace. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth, wisdom, and unwavering support. Later in life, she joyfully took on the role of grandmother, helping raise two grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit and steadfast presence continued to shape and inspire her family. Through her actions and words, she taught the invaluable lessons of perseverance, compassion, and the importance of family bonds.

Julia is preceded by her parents, Josiah and Edna Beakley; husband, Harry SD Morris; husband, Herbert G. Hoffman; brothers, Raymond, and Roland; and sister, Joyce.

Survivors include her son, Harry Josiah Morris; daughter, Mary Jo Pharo; sister, Edna; grandchildren, Samanth Rae Parker, Jacques Lien, Joseph Morris, and Pualani Georgina Martine Gaw Morris; great grandchildren, Olivia Parker, Dixie Parker, Nyssa Morris, Casie Millsap, Sidney McCafferty, Ozias Lien, and Atlas Lien; and great great grandchildren, Dominic Millsap, Landon Taylor, and Dylan Millsap.
