Judy Schneider Hearell, 55, of Temple passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Scott and White Hospital. Memorial Services will be held at Harper Talasek Funeral Home on Monday July 26, 2010 at 10 am with Scott Meyers officiating. Family visitation will be Sunday July 25, 2010 from 3pm to 5pm.
Judy was born on March 13, 1955 to Edward and Janie Schneider. She had one sister, Sherry Schneider Caffey, married to Ricky Caffey. She was a lifetime resident of Temple, and received her education at Temple High School. She married Charles Hearell on Feburary 14th and through thick and thin, he was her one and only true love. They had two beautiful daughters, which they cherished greatly, Stacey Hearell Hawkins married to John Hawkins, and Jennifer Hearell Williams married to Michael Williams.
Judy took great pride in her four granddaughters, Samantha Williams, McKayla Williams, Addison Williams, and Madeline Hawkins. She was an active fan of these girls, supporting everything from softball to school plays. Her favorite time was Christmas when she could have an excuse to shower her family with gifts large and small.
Judy was a member of Western Hills Church of Christ and enjoyed volunteering at the Love of Christ Food Pantry. She was known to be a fabulous cook, and was famous for her fried potatoes and tuna salad. She spoke the love language of food, whether it was lazy Sunday meals hosted in her home, or the infamously stocked candy drawer.
Judy had an excellent work ethic and was passionate about her job as an administrative assistant at several of the local nursing homes in the area. She loved spending time with the residents of each facility and saw her job as a way to touch the lives of others. She took pride in her commitment to her employers, and went above and beyond in her work.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Janie Schneider.
