Judith Wilson

A funeral service for Judith Hawkes Baker Wilson, 71, of Temple will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with James & Laurinda Paine officiating.

She passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at a local hospital.

She was born December 1, 1946 in Cameron to Noble and Bonnell (Patillo) Hawkes. She attended Cameron schools. Before retirement she worked for PTA Exchange and GC Financial Services. Judy married Mike Wilson on February 22, 1990 in Belton. She was the Honorary Vice President of the Temple Disc Golf Association.

Judy was a loving wife, devoted mother and beloved grandmother. She enjoyed many hobbies including cake decorating, crocheting, fishing and camping. But most of all she loved to spend time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Noble Hawkes and Bonnell Vaculin.

Survivors include her husband Mike Wilson of Temple; sons, Jimmy Baker of Fort Worth, David Baker and wife Stephanie of Temple and Tim Wilson and wife Tamara of Troy; brothers, Billy Hawkes and wife Laura of Rosenthal and Byron Hawkes and wife Rita of Ditmer, MO; grandchildren, James Baker, Jennifer Laflower, Ryan Avila, Taylor Moore, Jacob Moore, Jocelyn Wilson, Cole Bellamy and Kaitlyn Baker; and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Services have been entrusted to Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
