Juan Roberto Garcia, beloved father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away at his home in Belton, Texas on Friday, October 6, 2023, at the age of 69. He was born on January 15, 1954, in Leander, Texas to the late Trinidad and Refugia Garcia. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Temple. A time of visitation will be held from 5-7 pm with a Holy Rosary recited at 7 pm Monday, October 16, 2023, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
Juan lived a fulfilling life dedicated to hard work and providing for his family. Throughout his career, he worked at Wilson Art before bringing his skills and expertise to Scott & White Hospital. After many years of dedicated service, he retired from the City of Temple. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones, but his memory will forever live on in their hearts.
Juan is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Andrew Garcia, and Johnny Garcia; sister, Augustina Gauna; son, Juan Robert Garcia Jr.; and granddaughter, Sophia Angel Wells.
He is survived by his daughters, Priscilla Kinney, Crystal Garcia-Wells; brother, Treno Garcia; sisters, Estella Ruiz, and Adela Batres; grandchildren, Alexis Garcia, Kristin Enriquez, Raquel Duran, Robert Garcia III, Elizabeth Duran, Brayden Wells, Jordan Wells, and Xavier Garcia; and great-grandchildren, Jo'ziah, Carlos, Miia, Isaac, Xavier, Everleigh, and Jetson.
