Josephine Wade

Services for Josephine L. Wade, 85, of Temple, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 19 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Temple. Burial will follow in Bellwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, November 18, at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.

Mrs. Wade went home peacefully to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 16, 2014.

Josephine was born June 17, 1929, in Temple, Texas to Joe and Lenora Bartek Mucha. Josephines greatest achievement was being a wife to her husband, Lesley Wade, for 68 years, being a mother and a grandmother. Her hearts desire, when she wasnt enjoying waterskiing or cooking, was actively taking part as a member in the Immanuel Lutheran Church, as a womens missionary and in altar guild.
Josephine is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Lenora Mucha her son, Robert Aaron Wade her sister Lorene Palla. Josephine leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her loving husband, Lesley C. Wade Jr., her sister Rose Ann Johnson her son Lesley Carl Wade and daughter Linda G. Drake her son at heart Dennis Drake and daughterinlaw Deborah Wade six grandchildren, Derek Wade, Ashley Rodgers, Dylan Drake, Lyndsey Wright, Scott Wade, and Laura Hargrove five great grandchildren, Sean Rodgers, Serenity Rodgers, Lenora Wright, Sullyvan Wade and Leyton Wade.
