Services for Joseph Henry Easley, 58, of Copperas Cove, Texas will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 21, 2015 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Chaplain Dub Falsone officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery.

Joseph Henry Easley passed away Friday, August 14th at a local nursing home facility.

Joseph was born August 18, 1956 to Billy Gene Easley and Frances Jean Ledger Easley in Temple, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Temple and graduated from Temple High School and attended Temple Junior College. Joseph played the trombone in the Temple High School Marching Band and played baseball for Temple High School and Temple Junior College. Joseph worked for Coca Cola Bottling Company for seventeen years.

Preceded in death by his parents; Billy Gene Easley in 2013 and Frances Jean Ledger Easley in 2008; son, Josh Easley in 2014; and sister, Elaine Faye Easley Bruner in 2012.

Survivors include his son, Chris Easley of Bastrop, Texas; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 Thursday, August 20th and the funeral home.
