Josefina Lozano

Services for Josefina Lozano, 75, of Temple will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 18, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

Josefina passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at a local hospital.

She was born on February 14, 1940 to Gil Granado and Aurelia Fernandez Granado in Buckholts, Texas. Josefina married Trinadad Lozano in 1954 and they were blessed with eleven children. She was a true mother who loved and took care of her family. She raised not only her own, but anyone and everyone. She loved cooking, singing and praising God.

Preceded in death are her parents; husband; sons; Gilbert Lozano, Fernando Lozano; daughter, Helen Lozano; brothers, Isabel Granado, Gil Granado, Lupe Granado and Rosalio Granado.

Survivors include son, Adam Anguiano and wife Venessa; daughters, Esther Lim and husband Hai lue, Josie Fraga and husband Arthur, Azucena Flores and husband Martin, Rosemary Lozano, Janie Northmore and husband Lonny, Linda Mendoza and husband Manuel, and Dianne Anguiano and husband Scott; brother, Pedro Granado; sisters, Tenesa Mendoza and Juanita Mata; thirty-six grandchildren; and forty great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 - 8 p.m. Friday, July 17, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Josefina's name may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
