John was born on June 25, 1940 to Jacque Burgoyne Wolf and Helen Wailes Wolf in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from St. Paul's High School and became a proud naval serviceman. After his military service, he graduated from Towson University with a bachelor's degree in history. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two sons, David Wolf and wife Luz, Kevin Wolf and wife Melinda, and three grandchildren, Weston Wolf, Jordan Wolf, and Jack Wolf.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Department of Veterans Affairs, especially all those in Temple and Waco who touched John's life, for their compassionate care.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 - 11:00 am before the service at the Killeen Harper-Talasek Funeral Home.
Arrangements are in the care of Harper-Talasek Funeral Home.
