John Fronek

I walk with my Lord, now I reap my reward.

John Fronek, 86 of Temple, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2009 at his residence. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Saturday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel in Temple. Private family committal service is scheduled for a later date.

John Fronek was born May 6, 1923 to Frank and Betty Nemec Fronek in San Gabriel, Texas. He proudly served our country in the United States Coast Guard. On August 22, 1966, he married Frances Doster in Cameron, Texas. Mr. Fronek worked as a machinist for Duplex in Temple for over 19 years. He was also a farmer. He has been a member of St. Marys Catholic Church when he moved to Temple in 1952.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Michael and Jeffery Fronek, 4 brothers, 1 sister, and great grandson, Dennis.

Survivors include: his wife, Frances Fronek of Temple, son, David Mark Fronek of Austin, daughters; Jon Christine Young and husband Fred of Chatsworth, GA, Ann Weber and husband Warren of Seattle, WA, Vicki McCully of Alexandria, LA, and Robin Sullivan and husband Kevin of Temple, 14 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Scott and White Hospice, 2401 S 31st St,BRTemple, TX 76508.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Friday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
