John Anderson

Funeral services for John Anderson, 91, of temple will be 10am Thursday, June 27, 2013 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple. Interment will be 10am Friday June 28, 2013 at Uhland Live Oak Cemetery in Uhland.
Mr. Anderson died Sunday in a Temple hospital.
Mr. Anderson was born on Feb. 9, 1922, in Nachitoches, La. He was raised in Midfield and served his country as an Air Corps pilot in WWII and the Korean Conflict. John was a successful business owner, general contractor, land developer and rancher.
His greatest joy was in the years spent serving God in Lay Witness Missions. He was also a teacher of the Word of God.
He married Billie Nell Roberts on May 1, 1943. They had 70 years together.
He is leading the way to heaven for his wife, 3 children, 9 grandchildren, 12 greatgrandchildren and 2 greatgreatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be held 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.
