Joe Rodriguez

Joe Johnny Rodriguez, 55 of Temple, passed away December 9, 2009 at his residence. Funeral service will be 2pm Saturday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Rev. Ernest Thompson officiating. Burial will follow Bellwood memorial Park in Temple.

Joe Rodriguez was born on April 29, 1954 to Fred Flores and Olivia Vasquez Rodriguez in Temple. Mr. Rodriguez was a laborer for several companies in the Temple area. He was a Baptist.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include: brothers; Rudy Vasquez of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Fred Flores Rodriguez, Jr. of Pittsburg, Kansas, Steve Rodriguez and wife Rachel of Temple, Alfred Rodriguez and wife Debbie of Temple, Jesse Rodriguez of Temple, and Samuel Rodriguez of Dallas, sisters; Dolores Yanez and husband Cruz of Garland, Texas, Martha Machuca and husband Joe of San Antonio, and Mary Hernandez of Temple.

Visitation will be 5:30-8:30pm Friday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home.

Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
