Joe Munoz

Joe L. Munoz, 76, of Temple, passed away January 30, 2012 at a local nursing home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am, Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Tom Chamberlain officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery under the direction of HarperTalasek Funeral Home, Temple. A Rosary will be 7:00pm, Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

Joe was born February 7, 1935 in Marlin, Texas, the son of the late Edwardo Munoz and Petra Lara Munoz. He was married to Guadalupe Jaramillo Munoz Feburary 18th 1960 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She preceded him in death September 22, 2001. He retired from Wilson Art after 27 years of service in February 2001. Joe was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents and wife Guadalupe Jaramillo Munoz of 41 years.

He is survived by children Stella Rodriguez and husband Andres of Temple John J. Munoz and wife Sharon of Cedar Park 3 grandchildren Vanessa M. Robles, Victor M. Rodriguez, Victoria M. Rodriguez, 2 great grandchildren Adan Rodriguez, Isaiah Rodriguez sisters, Isabell Molena, Linda Tijerina, Geneva Martinez, brothers Adelaido Munoz, Edwardo Munoz, Jr., Marcelino Munoz, nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
