Joe Huey

Joe Dan Huey of Morgan's Point Resort passed on the evening of August 16, 2009 at 71 years of age. An informal celebration of his life will be conducted on Saturday, August 22nd 2009 at 4 PM at Moffat Community Center in Moffat. Family and friends are encouraged to come and remember all the wonderful years we had with him. Joe was born on May 4, 1938 on a family farm in Bell County to Walter Huey, Sr. and Faye McCrary Huey. Joe worked for Coca Cola for a total of 30 years. He is survived by his wife of more than 30 years, Brenda L Huey, brother Sam Huey and Walter Huey, Jr; sister,. Nancy Huey Kimbro; a step-son, Kerry coker; step-daughter Pamela coker Moon; and daughter, BJ Huey Holston as well as 8 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren.
