JoAnn Moreno Donoso was born on September 20, 1949 in Temple, Texas to Isabel Moreno and Juanita Rangel Moreno. She was one of eight children. JoAnn worked for the Temple Independent School District as a teacher's aide and worked closely with special needs children. She enjoyed dancing, shopping, listening to her husband sing, and spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren. Her family tradition was to take her grandkids to Six Flags and to a Texas Ranger's game during the summer. Her favorite treats were Hershey's with almonds and a cold, bottled Diet Coke. Her favorite saying was "I just want all of my honey bunnies in one basket"! Mrs. Donoso was an honest, courageous, loving, fierce woman. Always telling it like it is and knowing it all! She leaves behind a life lesson to always speak your mind and stand up for what you believe in. Stand up for who you are. And love yourself.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Donoso; two sons, Paul Michael Donoso and wife Krista, and Steven Donoso; four brothers, Conrad Moreno and wife Maggie, Butch Garcia, Gilbert Moreno and wife Sonia, and Ronnie Moreno; four sisters, Mary Renteria and husband Eugene, Estella Ares and husband Jose, Dianne Romero, and Sylvia Moreno; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
