Joan Adele Bulat

Joan Adele Bulat, age 82, of Temple, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 30, 2025. Private family services will be held at a later date.

Joan was born on August 7, 1943, in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, to John A. Smith and Mary E. Tisch. She spent many years working as an accountant, a career she approached with dedication and precision.

Joan had a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life. She loved creating art through drawing, exploring new places while traveling with family and friends, and spending time playing board games. She had a special fondness for lighthouses and the beach, places that brought her peace and happiness. Despite her allergies, Joan adored dogs and treasured the companionship they brought.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Charles Bulat. Joan’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her, including her son, John A. Loeffler, and her sisters, Anita Black and Marie Phillips.
