Graveside services for Jessie Marie Pogue, 88, of Palestine, will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2016 at Temple Garden of Memories.

Jessie Marie Pogue passed away October 26, 2016 at a care facility in Palestine, Texas.

Jessie Marie Pogue (Berry) was born January 3, 1928 to Lloyd Berry and Mary Etta Wimberly in Duffau, Texas. She married Lawrence James Pogue September 20, 1945 in Stephenville, Texas. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was member of DAV Auxiliary and attended the Heidenheimer Church of Christ and the Southside Church of Christ in Palestine.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Clifford Mackey; her husband of 40 years; and a daughter Laura Ludlum.

Survivors includeher daughter, Mary Lacretia Brown and her husband Larry; seven grandchildren; twelve great- grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

Arrangements are in the care of Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
