Jean Beck

No services are planned for Mrs. Jean Beck, 80, of Temple.

Mrs. Beck died Sunday, July 6, 2014, at a local nursing facility. She was born January 4, 1934 in Kathleen, Florida to William Gardner Smith and Claudia B. Rutland. She married Walter Everitt Beck on October 1, 1988 in Guadalupe County, Texas. Mrs. Beck was a property manager for many years and Mr. Beck was a longtime funeral director in this area prior to his retirement.

Mrs. Beck was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Charles Smith.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Everitt Beck a brother, Douglas Smith and many nieces and nephews.
