Janet Fulkerson

Janet Sue Fulkerson, age 67 of Temple, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021 at her home. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Janet was born on September 25, 1953 to Miron and Barbara Stock in Mexico, Missouri. She graduated from Mexico Senior High School in 1972. After graduation, she joined the United States Army and was a part of the WAC Division from 1972 through 1974. She then completed the LVN Program at Temple Junior College and continued her service as a Nurse at the V. A. Hospital in Temple for 30 years. Janet was a beloved mother, sister, and friend. She loved to travel, especially to visit Las Vegas; and she loved animals. She had a very loving, caring, and warm heart; always ready to help someone in need. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Miron and Barbara Stock; and two nephews, Jason and Michael Stock.

She is survived by her brother, David Stock of Mexico, MO; and her daughter, Tristen Korsmo and husband, Scott of Temple, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in Janet’s name to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caring staff at Visiting Angels, and Texas Home Health Hospice.
