Jane Trevino

Jane Salas Trevino, 86, of Temple, Texas went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, May 7, 2012 at a local hospital surrounded by her family.
Jane was born on May 6, 1926 in Reagan, Texas to the late Theodore Salas and Ruby Gonzales Salas. In 1990, she retired from the Four Seasons Nursing Home after 20 years of service with the company. Jane loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and was a faithful member of La Iglesia De Dios Pentecostes Rosa De Saron. Some of her favorite hobbies were sewing and gardening. Jane spent her life taking care of others and she was known by all as being a loving and generous person.
Jane is survived by her children Dorothy Ibarra, Gladys Jimenez, Roy Trevino, and Virginia Fisher all of Temple, Texas. She is also survived by one sister Mary Rivera of Marlin, Texas, 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many dear friends. Jane will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Friday, May 11, 2012 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home Chapel in Temple, Texas with burial service immediately following at the Hillcrest Cemetery also in Temple. The visitation will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the funeral home from 6:00 7:00p.m. followed by a 7:00p.m. memorial service.
