James E. Willie Williford

Services for James E. Willie Williford, 72, of Temple will be 11: 00 a.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple with Pastor Mattie Lee Cox and Pastor Robert Finto officiating.

Burial will be at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. Mr. Williford died Friday, January 17, in a local hospital.

He was born May 17, 1941, to Leon Edward Williford and Madie Lee Rudd Williford in Raleigh, N.C. He was retired from the U.S. Army serving in Germany and other locations including the U.S.

Mr. Williford was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

Survivors include sons Ronald Williford and wife, Debbie, Wesley Williford and wife, Amber, Cary Williford and wife, Misty, and Cory Williford and wife, Crystal all of Temple two sisters 10 grandchildren, Jason, James, Joshua, Bryttni, Ky, Ashli, Wesley, Mallory, Hayley, and Jake and 1 greatgrandchild, Zayne.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 21, from 68 p.m. at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.

The family requests that memorials be made in Willies name to the Dallas Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at 3102 Maple Avenue, Suite 120, Dallas 75201.
