James White, Sr.

James Curtis J.C.Bud White, Sr., 74, of Temple, died Friday, September 4, 2009 at his residence.

A memorial gathering will be held at 6-7:30 P.M. Friday, September 11, 2009 at Taylor's Valley Baptist Church in Temple. Private interment will be in Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen at a later date.

Mr. White was born to James Arthur White and Mary Lee Deaver White in Cedar Creek on February 8, 1935. He was a lifelong resident of Bell County. He was a graduate of Academy High School, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was formerly employed with Amos Electric Company in Temple.

Survivors include one son, James Curtis Bud White, Jr. of New Braunfels; one daughter, Barbara LeAnn White of New Braunfels; one brother, Dickey Wayne Skipper White of Livingston; one sister, Doris Lee Dot Kleine of Mesquite; and three grandchildren.

Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
